Thank you for visiting our website. For the second year running Combe Bank is the top Independent Girls’ school in Kent as stated in the Government league tables. We are absolutely delighted with these results as they show that girls are consistently achieving success in gaining a minimum of 5 GCSE’s at A*- C including Maths and English and also exceptional A Level grades.
When parents ask me why the school is so successful I say that I believe it is the combination of good teaching, pupils’ hard work and the close ties and support that we have with our parents. Whilst I know that academic results are important, the girls enjoy a good all round education with a strong music and drama department, exceptional sports facilities and an enrichment programme which allows the girls to try many different activities with the programme changing termly.
Our aim at Combe Bank School is give each girl the opportunity to shine and when the time comes to leave Combe Bank School we equip them with the knowledge and confidence necessary to take on the challenges of the outside world.
We have 400 girls aged 3 to 18 and with small classes, outstanding facilities and first rate teaching; we feel we have created the perfect combination to help each girl to achieve her full potential. Combe Bank also achieves outstanding Key Stage 2 SATs results, along with 100% pass rates at GCSE and A Level and a 100% university success rate.
